I Know Something That You Don’t Know: Acne Scar Treatment

ibn0084l1Even though many people recover from acne without experiencing scars, there are some individuals that aren’t so lucky. Fortunately the acne treatments and medications that exist in today’s skin care community are fabricated to treat such lesions. However, it’s believed that surgical procedures out today may be the best solution in treating acne scars.

So, I’ve decided to state the more effective treatments for each type of acne scars.

Acne Treatment for Premature Acne Scars

A hyper pigmented mark on the skin is what appears after an acne lesion has healed. However, this isn’t actually a scar but a post-inflammatory transformation. If you see hyper pigmentation or a red mark; this means the skin is going through a remodeling and healing process and will take at least 6 to 12 months.

A change in color or skin defect still there after a year’s time is considered a scar, but if no other lesions develop in that area then the skin will heal normally.

Acne Treatment for Early Acne Scars

The only path to post-inflammatory acne success is understanding the factors that develop acne and applying the right acne treatment for your varied acne conditions.

Changes in post-inflammatory developed by acne are just a part of the skin’s healing process. Fortunately there are varied acne treatments and medications that have become famous in facilitating the healing process:

The most effective solution to treating acne scars is not to pick at your scabs. They are part of the healing process. If you interfere with the healing process you’re prolonging the remodeling process – The effects will be evident.

Too much sun exposure is skin damaging and delays healing. So wearing sun screen is important.

The use of tretinoin helps with the skin’s remodeling process. This medication speeds up the healing of your lesion.

Post- Inflammatory and Antioxidants Transformation

These elements in the acne remodeling process are known for treating and even diminishing post-inflammatory changes and at times permanent scars. However it’s not medically proven that this acne treatment or treatments prevent or even treat skin damaging. It’s even said that Vitamin E, highly applied topical treatment for healing wounds causes more harm than good.

A formulation for an acne treatment is in the works. However, you should never base other people’s results with techniques or products because everyone skin is different.
